Maggie successfully defended her dissertation titled “Life Without Light: Ecology, Evolution, and Biogeography of Microbial and Viral Communities in the Deep Sea” on May 18th, 2026. She is graduating from the Freshwater and Marine Sciences Graduate Program after five years of conducting research in the Anantharaman Lab. We can’t wait to see what you do Maggie!
