Cody successfully defended his dissertation titled “Decoding the language of viral genomes with evolutionary-scale, context-aware genome language models” on May 1st, 2026. He is graduating from the Microbiology Doctoral Training Program (MDTP) after five years of conducting research in the Anantharaman Lab. We can’t wait to see what you do Cody!
